Paul Sharp's 1975 Absinth Yellow Sandman ute.

Well here we go again, another Sandman ute! Airn't these supposed to be rare? Well, here's the deal... Paul contacted me through SEVEN82MOTORS Classic's, Lowriders & Muscle cars and wanted a Sandman ute, not any Sandman ute, a yellow Sandman ute. Paul used to own one and part of this build of recreating his dream car was to recreate what he had... but it had to be a genuine car! Yeash! So, a couple of options came up along the way but i learnt pretty quickly if it it wasn't yellow it wasn't worth talking to him... Some time pasted but this little dimond in the rough popped up for sale and was a factory Absinth Yellow, 253, 4 speed, XX7 Brisbane built Sandman ute just like he owned back in the day... So the deal was done and being a project car with parts we had to go pick it up, 11hrs each way with the car trailor but we got the car and it was a nice dry country car.
Shortly after Paul and his parter Tracey traveled in to meet with the Ben form SEVEN82MOTORS and Richie from Mr Restoration and a plan was devised for a bare metal full cosmetic and mechanical restoration! keep an eye on this space to see this one transform.
